Opening DXOne Reporting

DXOne Reporting is the main module for Dentrix Enterprise reports. Also, any custom reports are available in DXOne Reporting. DXOne Reporting is an independent module, which means you can open it not only from another module but independent of other modules.

Note: Accessing DXOne Reporting requires the "DXOne Report, Launch" security right.

To open DXOne Reporting

Do one of the following:

Click the DXONE Reports shortcut link on the Windows Start menu.

If no other modules are open, the Dentrix Enterprise Security dialog box appears. Enter your User ID, Password, and Clinic ID (to save that ID for the next time you log in, select the Save Clinic ID as Default checkbox). Then, click Sign In.

Double-click the DXOne Reporting shortcut icon on the Windows desktop

If no other modules are open, the Dentrix Enterprise Security dialog box appears. Enter your User ID, Password, and Clinic ID (to save that ID for the next time you log in, select the Save Clinic ID as Default checkbox). Then, click Sign In.

Click the DXOne Reports buttonĀ on the toolbar of one of the following modules:

Family File, Ledger, Patient Chart, Appointment Book, or Office Manager:

In Collections Manager, on the File menu, click DXOne Reports.

If applicable, do one of the following:

If the Password - DXOne Report, Launch dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "DXOne Report, Launch" task. Do one of the following:

If your user account has been granted the "DXOne Report, Launch" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.

If your user account has not been granted the "DXOne Report, Launch" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can open DXOne Reporting this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.

If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "DXOne Report, Launch" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can open DXOne Reporting this one time, do the following:

On the message, click Yes.

In the Password - DXOne Report, Launch dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.

DXOne Reporting opens.
